About the Wilson 100:

The Wilson 100 is named after Scott Wilson, one of the past Presidents who made tremendous contributions to improving cycling in the Atlanta area. He died in his late 30’s of cancer. Optional donations in honor of Scott Wilson are focused in two areas, the Southern Bicycle League’s Advocacy Fund and Families First.

The SBL Advocacy Fund helps promote and provide better cycling and transportation alternatives in Metro Atlanta for 2008 and beyond.

Secondly, a portion of the profits are designated to a charitable non-profit (501C3) organization, with this year's beneficiary being Families First. Families First is the largest non-profit family service agency in Georiga, assisting more than 40,000 children and families each year. Families First, serving for nearly 120 years, delivers comprehensive solutions to address the root causes of the most series problems facing children and familes today.
